Connexus is the organizer of the Cracking the Nut® conferences, which address the “tough nuts” or difficult challenges facing the international development community. Traditionally, the conference has relied on a mix of private- and public-sector participation to identify innovative approaches that address the most pressing challenges in agricultural value chain development and facilitating access to finance, as well as concerns about related issues, such as food security.
Connexus organizes an advisory group for every conference to review presentation proposals that highlight creative approaches and lessons learned in investing in and/or implementing rural and agricultural development programs. Following the conference, Connexus summarizes the lessons learned in an online technical publication.
