Connexus’ credit readiness training of trainers can be used to train farmers on money management, cost accounting, cash flow management, and debt management, among other topics. As weak financial management often hinders farmers’ access to finance, this capacity building benefits smallholders’ farm-level financial management, reducing their risk as farm managers and making them stronger and more attractive loan applicants to financial institutions.
